The plugin enables seamless export of .su2 files β€” essential for CFD simulations β€” providing an interface to SU2, the open-source CFD simulation and optimization suite developed at Stanford University. QSU2 simplifies the process of defining boundaries and conditions for fluid dynamics studies, making it easier to go from geographic data to a simulation-ready setup β€” useful for engineers, researchers, and professionals working on water systems and other infrastructure.

Built by Syed Mafooq Ul Hassan, Marios S. Kyriakou, and Demetrios G. Eliades (KIOS Research and Innovation Centre of Excellence).
